About the Pregnancy Resource Center of Panama City

The Pregnancy Resource Center is a faith-based, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. Funding for the PRC is obtained through private donations from local businesses, individuals and 23 local churches of various denominations. No government money is received, by choice. In August 2007, the PRC will celebrate 23 years in Bay County serving several surrounding counties. We continue to offer the following services:

- Pregnancy Testing and Counseling
-Prenatal, Parenting and Relationship Classes
-Single Parenting Classes
-Abortion Recovery Classes
-“Boutique” is equipped with a variety of material needs, maternity clothes,
   infant and toddler clothing and various infant furniture items.
-Abstinence Education
-Adoption Assistance and Referral

Housing the Heartbeat of Bay County

In an effort to enhance the already productive service of the Pregnancy Resource Center, the Board of Directors believes that a maternity home will be a natural enhancer serving comprehensively women facing unplanned pregnancies. This home will provide safe, longer-term emergency housing for young women facing homelessness.
