At the Pregnancy Resource Center of Panama City, it has been our vision to provide these girls with a local maternity home in Bay County. The mission of the Maternity Home is to assist young girls ages 11 to 17 facing an unplanned pregnancy, make a successful parenting plan . Providing not only shelter but emotional, spiritual, educational and physical support during their pregnancy and up to 6 weeks post partum. This home will provide safe, longer-term emergency housing for young women facing homelessness.
